"We had a great stay here with our colleges aged boys and our dogs! Plenty of space with bedrooms and good sized bed options for all of us! Kitchen and dining and room being open made game playing and food/drink access easy! WiFi worked well, and we were able to stream our college football games. The local gem mine was a fun experience! Close to grocery store and not too far from the hiking trails! Outside spaces were well kept and host was responsive. Check in/out process here was super easy! We had a good weekend here!"

"Great house!! There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room. Host and maintenance people were quick to answer questions and take care of a few minor issues. I think my only recommendation would be to put a second refrigerator on the basement. When you're buying food and drinks for that many people, one fridge was cutting it right. We would definitely come and stay here again."

"We were pleasantly surprised with this treasure of a cabin and will be return guests. It was exactly as described and better. First, our host Areti was attentive and quick to answer questions and to resolve any issues. For instance, the shower curtain rod suddenly fell and my husband could not get it to stay. She had a new one delivered that day along with a gift just for us and a bag of corn to feed the local wildlife. Steve easily installed the new rod, and the corn attracted the wildlife. We got to enjoy seeing deer, squirrels, and birds. The bed was super comfortable. I was concerned about heavily scented sheets and brought our own, but we never needed them. We were so grateful that her cleaning service did not use the overly scented Fabuloso or other equally heavily perfumed cleaners and soaps. The kitchen was well appointed. I made coffee daily and cooked breakfast all but one day. The stainless steel cookware was perfect for the electric stove.The deck is the place to be for coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. The mountains were cloaked every morning with a blanket of low hanging clouds that slowly rose and dissipated. We were gone much of every day we were there and only got back to see a couple of sunsets that were stunning! The next time I will plan better so we can catch more. We stayed out on the deck late enough two nights to hear two Screech Owls. One was quite close and the other was further out as it answered the call. Great Stay!!"

"There is a bad spot in the living room floor. It can be a liability. I almost tripped and fell. I was anxious about my mother falling. Otherwise it was quaint and quiet. Highly recommend once the living room floor is fixed. You will need to bring extra supplies like aluminum foil or parchment paper. Also you will need your own laundry detergent."

"Great property! Very quiet, the deck area is very nice. I really enjoyed grilling in the evenings on the deck and winding down after a long day. The small lake down the hillIs nice. Everyone in the community is very friendly when out walking. The house is older but in great shape and clean. I will likely book it again if I’m ever back in the area."
