'Beautiful 7 BR 5 Bath Log Home with a game room, Hot Tub, and Starlink internet

"Great house!! There were 13 of us and we had plenty of room. Host and maintenance people were quick to answer questions and take care of a few minor issues. I think my only recommendation would be to put a second refrigerator on the basement. When you're buying food and drinks for that many people, one fridge was cutting it right. We would definitely come and stay here again."

"We were pleasantly surprised with this treasure of a cabin and will be return guests. It was exactly as described and better. First, our host Areti was attentive and quick to answer questions and to resolve any issues. For instance, the shower curtain rod suddenly fell and my husband could not get it to stay. She had a new one delivered that day along with a gift just for us and a bag of corn to feed the local wildlife. Steve easily installed the new rod, and the corn attracted the wildlife. We got to enjoy seeing deer, squirrels, and birds. The bed was super comfortable. I was concerned about heavily scented sheets and brought our own, but we never needed them. We were so grateful that her cleaning service did not use the overly scented Fabuloso or other equally heavily perfumed cleaners and soaps. The kitchen was well appointed. I made coffee daily and cooked breakfast all but one day. The stainless steel cookware was perfect for the electric stove.The deck is the place to be for coffee in the morning and a cocktail in the evening. The mountains were cloaked every morning with a blanket of low hanging clouds that slowly rose and dissipated. We were gone much of every day we were there and only got back to see a couple of sunsets that were stunning! The next time I will plan better so we can catch more. We stayed out on the deck late enough two nights to hear two Screech Owls. One was quite close and the other was further out as it answered the call. Great Stay!!"

"Peaceful!Just what we wanted. Away from medical issues and the rat race,We have loved staying in Franklin during August for 6 of the last 7 years. Even though the temperature was above average for Franklin, it was a joy for someone from south Florida, especially with evenings still going to the low 60's and the constant morning fog."

"Many good things here - the kitchen was very nice, beds were very comfortable, and the house was spotlessly clean. There is an air mattress not futon in the office area which is really a closet off master with a window. There is a nice deck and firepit but access from house to deck is a little unusual as it is through a bathroom. I stay3d here for 5 nights with family and friends and enjoyed our stay."

"Loved this place. Perfect setting. Would definitely come back. Debra was very patient with our questions, we had never rented vrbo house before. She was very gracious. She had everything covered. Just like you were at home. I wish there were more Debra's in the world and her daughter was great, too. We felt blessed to find her place."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was clean and it had everything we needed. The only thing I would point out is that the washer and dryer are in an outside room downstairs under the back porch. Its not convenient if you have bad knees. But other than that I would recommend this house and would stay here again."
The Farmhouse is located in the Beautiful Mountains of Western North Carolina.
