「The cleaning staff went above and beyond to help us find a lost wallet. They came into the room and helped move furniture! Very friendly and we were all so happy. 」

The bathroom was very clean and plenty of hot water with very good water pressure. The balcony overlooking the river was very relaxing, listening to the noise of the water flowing bye. The breakfast was plentiful with very good choices. The attendant at breakfast was very courteous and helpful. We definitely recommend for a good stay in the Sylva NC area.」

「First, if you want all the extra amenities and fancy décor that you get at some of those chain hotels, then this is not the place for you. But if you want a simple room that is clean and has everything you really need, at a good price, and is close to downtown Sylva, then this is a great place. It is an old roadside motel that is definitely basic in its design. But it was very clean and everything in the room worked. Which is better than I can say about the last VRBO I stayed at. 「I arrived five minutes before the office closed. The young man was friendly and when I was given a key (a KEY!) I was thrilled. This place is a classic, road side motel. It's old but clean. Nice bed, shower was small but with very hot water, microwave and 'fridge. I had a balcony room right on the river with two rocking chairs. Both nights I stayed there there were logs burning in a fire pit right next to the river so the sent of a campfire filled the air. When I turned in my key the young...
