「Our stay was perfect for an overnight during further travel. We had a friendly greeting with information of where to eat. The room was clean and comfortable and a more than adequate breakfast. We were lucky to have a parking space on site but there are not really enough spaces for the number of rooms. 」

「Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals.
