This place was a nicely finished basement of someone's house, which I was not expecting, but really no issues w/the people upstairs or beside us. Little tricky to know where to go at first, but I asked the guy staying by there, if we were at the right place. They had nice offerings of snacks coffee and amenities, but we found oddly that the snacks were expired months ago, and the coffee two years ago. They needed a little work with that. Obviously shower and bathroom stuff did not expire like that so we had no problem using that stuff, just had a shock when we opened a snack and it was completely stale and from January..ugh! The coffee said best by 2023..lol We did have a light bulb blow as soon as we turned the light on and remote did not work as the batteries were dead, not sure if they just had not had anyone stay there in a long time or what, but those things we just did without. The bathroom and living room seemed pretty clean other than the dust all around the table. They had comfy chairs and couches we used because the bed was just too hard for either of us and we tossed and turned. But having a clean cold shower for the hot days there and nice central air after our adventures outside in the 100 degree temps, it was enough for the time being. The lady upstairs every morning was up watering flowers, and raking our beach sand and leaves. All in all, it was a nice getaway from home to relax by the water, and when too hot, cool off inside. We give them a 4 out of 5.
