STUDIO 36 is located downtown in Charleston's popular Elliotborough neighborhood and is the perfect spot for those looking to explore Charleston's walk everywhere lifestyle. This chic studio apartment SLEEPS 4 GUESTS and is professionally decorated with shiplap detailing and luxurious interiors. This open concept studio floorplan offers the convenience of all-on-one-floor living.

The Space:
Comfortable seating in the living area converts to a SLEEPER SOFA. Sleep comfortably in the KING BED, with Tempurpedic mattress dressed with high thread count linens. Plan your day over a cup of coffee or watch the morning news on the large screen TV with cable and wireless internet. After a day of exploring the city, enjoying festivals or eating the local fare, come back to relax in STUDIO 36's private courtyard with a cocktail in hand.

Studio 36 includes one off-street parking spot. The reserved parking spot is located in a parking lot approximately one block from Studio 36.

This unit is fully licensed and legal with the City of Charleston under STR Operational Permit OP2024-05713 and Business License BL039445-12-2024.

Guest Access:
Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.

In addition, for properties with gate or garage access, you will be given this access code on the day of your arrival as well.

This 2-acre private membership club nestled in downtown Charleston is a modern oasis offering resort-style amenities and a Bali-Tulum-inspired atmosphere unparalleled on the Charleston peninsula.

The Wonderer includes a swimming pool, onsite eateries for breakfast, lunch, dinner, trendy cocktails, and of course poolside cabanas! It also includes an indoor gym and fitness studio with daily classes, a recovery room full of spa therapies, private and shared workspaces, live music, and an active calendar of social events.

Once you confirm your reservation at The Wonderer, you will receive a link to book your time to visit the Campus. Please note, all fitness classes and ticketed events are offered based on availability and may come at an additional cost. Day Passes are available with required pre-registration via a link that will be shared with you upon booking.

Day pass reservations at The Wonderer for guests of this property are completely free of charge. The Wonderer’s on-site parking lot is a paid lot, however there is free on-street parking in the area subject to availability.

Please note: availability at The Wonderer is not guaranteed without a confirmed reservation. The number of available day passes remains strictly first-come, first-serve. If you plan to enjoy The Wonderer anytime between April 15th - September 1st, we strongly suggest booking in advance to guarantee access.

The Wonderer has a minimum age requirement of 25 years old (unless you're a member, a guest of a member, or receive a special exception from club management).

The Neighborhood:
This trendy area is within an easy walk of Charleston's top attractions and a quick, two-block walk from the bustling Upper King District which includes award-winning restaurants and shops. Some of our favorites include Halls Chophouse, The Darling Oyster Bar, Vintage Lounge, and Kudu Coffee & Craft Beer.

Getting Around:
Studio 36 is located in the heart of Downtown Charleston, which makes it easy to walk or bike to any of our local attractions/restaurants.

The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just 2 blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.

Other Things to Note:
Pet policy: As much as we love the four-legged members of your family, we do not allow pets at this property.

No smoking is allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is only permitted outside of the property at least 10 feet away please.

Please note that there is a noise ordinance in this neighborhood after 10pm daily, so if you are enjoying yourself please stay inside and be considerate of the neighbors.

Extenuating Circumstances Hurricane Policy: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued by the Governor during the dates of your stay specifically for the county in which the property is located, the extenuating circumstances policy will be in effect, and we will refund any deposits or payments paid by the guest. We shall have no additional liability concerning the reservation. However, if a Mandatory Evacuation Order is NOT issued, then THE STANDARD CANCELLATION POLICY WILL REMAIN IN EFFECT SHOULD THE GUEST CHOOSE TO CANCEL THEIR RESERVATION. If inclement weather in any other part of the country or world during the dates of stay prohibits or alters the guest (or any individuals in the guest's group) from traveling to the property, a refund will not be issued, and we shall have no liability with respect to the reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly recommend guests purchase travel insurance.

Close to King Street

We had a great stay and the place was perfect for our girls weekend. It was a bit noisy at night because we were amongst student housing. Close to many great stores and restaurants all within walking distance.

great little find

The studio cottage was renovated and has a beachy vibe. Large shower and adequate bathroom but needs a good cleaning. (sink walls stained and shower mildew in places. No vent fan so I can see why this happens. The upholstery needs a cleaning as well. Bed was comfy. Patio was adorable but also needs some love. Weedy and chairs were dirty. We never sat out there bc we did not want to clean. :) Location was very convenient. We parked our car and walked or ubered the whole time we were there. Great little kitchen but we never cooked. Street was noisy in the mornings. I'd stay here again for the price I guess! Nice to have parking included and our car was fine but it is in an open lot up the block so you cannot see it. Good for 2 people since there is only one bathroom.

In Charleston for work and enjoyed the convenient location. It was clean, comfortable, and offered good amenities. Drinking coffee on the back deck under the twinkly lights was a highlight, as was the firm mattress.

Location

Location is good for walking from King St clear to Battery Park. Good parking space in a lot one block down. Quick and easy to get to main roads to drive to other attractions in the area. Perfect accommodations for a couple.

Not clean. I notified the property manager about our concerns. They said they appreciate our feedback and would have the cleaning crew address the issues. Hopefully, they did have the apartment cleaned, mopped, etc.

Girls weekend

My friend and I stayed here for a long girls weekend. The location was very close to downtown. A parking pass came with our stay and that was also very close. The apartment was exactly like the pictures. Very clean, updated and most of all we felt safe. The bed was a king foam bed. Very comfortable. Not too firm and not too soft. This apartment is good for two people max in my opinion. Overall, great! We would stay here again and suggest our friends and family to do the same.

Downtown Studio

Property is perfect for two adults and in a great quiet, walkable location. Clean and comfortable. Good communication with CVP. Appreciated being able to drop off luggage. Mentioned leak in ceiling after high winds and rain and management responded with a follow up. This did not affect our stay. Outdoor patio needs a good sweeping and replacement of broken table umbrella. Overall, would recommend.

Terrific Place!

This Studio was really a great find. It was clean, neat, and had everything we needed for a short stay. Loved the back patio. The location was perfect. We did not rent a car but were able to walk anywhere, as long as our legs held out. LOL! Uber and bike taxis were everywhere, if you needed them. There were two restaurants just feet from this spot, and plenty more a few minutes walk away. Management was available at all times. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The Perfect Girls Trip
