Charming and old village house of 115 sqm, located in the very sought after and quiet district of MOUSSOUX CHAMONIX, facing south, with panoramic and breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and Aiguilles de Chamonix.
This house is located 10 minutes walk from the city center and 8 minutes walk from the gondola serving the Brévent-Flégère ski area.
This house, on three levels, completely renovated, has three bedrooms, an independent studio rented with the rest of the house three bathrooms with WC and an independent Japanese toilet, two outdoor parking spaces and a private parking. garden 50 m² and a balcony facing south.
Four televisions allow to receive either the national chains (Internet and TNT), or chains Anglo-Saxon. Two of the bedrooms and the studio are equipped with televisions.
Internet and WIFI are provided.

Comfortable base for a week in chamonix
Good place for a family holiday week to explore chamonix and surrounding areas. Decent kitchen and living area, all in one room. With terrace that looked right onto Mont Blanc. Location was excellent with town centre comfortably walkable. But bear in mind it is up a slope from the lower town with steep section (15mins from start of shops to back up the hill). Also easy access for cars, to get out of town for day excersions.

Great place near Brevent chairlift
The place was a very comfortable size for six adults. Close to lifts, ski hire and bus. Skiing great; can walk into town but get a bus back if it’s not too late

A dream trip
Had so much fun. Great place, great location. My partner and I plus my family spent a nice ski trip here. Walking distance to the nearest lift and downtown was amazing.

Caveat Emptor
Let's get the bad out the way first. As others have noted, there is a EUR 250 service charge on arrival. It is mentioned on the description (not in the total cost!) as a footnote that's easy to miss. You pay this in cash to the agent. When I queried it, he did admit we were the third party to do so in the past five bookings and that feedback from others (like us) is that its not exactly highlighted. What is also particularly annoying is that when you get the rental confirmation, there is a "service charge" already included in that. Strange! As for the property itself, its very nice. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Views to Mt Blanc are amazing especially from the master bedroom and living room balcony. Note that the fourth bedroom is on the ground floor and is separate to rest of the house but is self contained with kitchenette and shower room. But whoever stays in it needs to go outside to get into the main house, so worth considering if a group. This also has two twin beds and I would say is not as comfortable as the other three bedrooms - though ideal to put loud snorers in! There is another en-suite bedroom on the ground floor but accessed from within the house. The rest of the first floor is taken up by a hallway and a large open-plan living area and kitchen. On the second floor is a large master bedroom with kingsize bed at the front and a second smaller - but very cosy - - double bedroom to the rear. Both bedrooms share a good sized bathroom. There are two parking spaces - one directly out the front and one to the side. The property is located on the hill on the south side of the valley - approximately opposite but slightly west of the Aiguille du Midi cable car. It's about a ten minute walk into the centre of town down a fairly steep hill so probably not ideal for elderly people. A good way to walk off a large tartiflette however! Ultimately, its a lovely property, but the extra EUR 250 charge has left a slightly bitter taste as it

Perfect get away for Chamonix visit
Overall, this is a lovely place. Comfortable beds, warm and inviting decorating and fully equipped kitchen. Lovely and scenic 10 minute walk into the center of town. Everyone was very easy to work with.

Beautiful, spacious house with astounding views. Easy to book - great communication from Martine and Carl met us on arrival. Close to PlanPraz/Brevent cablecars. Thought it might be a bit of a hike up out of the town but was wasn’t, great location and would certainly stay again.

Bel emplacement pour ce chalet familial, hauteurs de Chamonix, face à l’aiguille du midi
Beau chalet rénové & bien décoré, sur les hauteurs de Chamonix, quartier des Moussoux, à 15-20 minutes à pied du centre ville, attention dénivelé important. Le descriptif ne mentionne pas que le studio est au RdC, donnant directement sur la route, avec l’emplacement de parking directement devant la porte d’entrée. La chambre avec douche se trouve en contrebas du chalet et les 2 fenêtres s’ouvrent directement sur une autre rue à très fort dénivelé, puisque le chalet est au croisement d’une rue pas très passante. En été cela peut être gênant pour aérer. Sinon, très bel espace pour l’entrée , salon, cuisine. Et deux chambres très belles au dernier étage. Emplacement de parking en bord de route. Très cosy & bien chauffé.
