"This hotel seems to be a mostly residential property with locals and is a bit rough around the edges, so you gotta be comfortable with that. The check in process was a bit stressful, we didn’t get the code as promised and had to enter through the back gate and find someone to call the manager. But - the room was clean, spacious, comfy and a nice base to explore LA- in between downtown and the cooler suburbs of echo park and silver lake, and further, Hollywood.
