"Walked into reception to find a miserable looking woman holding her head in her hands, elbows on the desk. No greeting. Tried to charge me for breakfast even though it was already paid for on booking, 15 minute argument and would accept receipt as proof. Most of the lights in the room weren’t working, the room is wired wrong so all switches have to be on for any to work but you don’t know which combination of switches so that took 15 minutes to figure out. "First of all it should be pointed out that the flat is in a senior citizens home. Slightly strange but unless you keep very strange hours then it's not a problem. The building is quiet and the parking is covered by CCTV. I|t's close to one of the major roads out of the city so if you have a car it's not a problem. Apartment is lovely and airy (no aircon). Close to the tram stop that takes you into Bordeaux central and a Careforre City is close by. Kitchen is a little sparse for a major...

"Great stop over hotel, just off the motorway. Reception were very friendly and helpful and the room comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a room at the front but the sound insulation was good, we couldn't hear the motorway at all. Good secure car park, just a bit confusing finding the entrance to it."
