"Was a great place to stay! "

"Room was very comfortable but starting to need a refresh. The bathroom was larg, but the shower was over a very deep bath, which made access and exiting a little difficult, as we are both in our late 70's. Location was excellent, a 1 minute walk from the bus station near the Porta Sant Anna at the western side of Lucca. Staff were excellent. Polite, friendly and helpful."

"Lovely old 3-star property right outside the wall. Clean in all areas. Super friendly staff from Front Desk to breakfast to room maids. Great self-serve breakfast and a variety of teas and cookies in the hallways for guests to serve themselves. The room had all the amenities you need. Hotel is near the rail station, but I never heard a train. Some reviews talk about folks hanging around the train station which I did not encounter and I felt safe at all times."

"We loved the location of this place. Close to everything but not in the middle of it all. It was close to bakeries and restaurants. The stairs up to the apartment were definitely worth it and even in the winter we were able to enjoy the rooftop terrace. Having a clothes drier was also a bonus. I would consider it again on our next trip to Lucca."

The staff were genuinely helpful, and every restaurant recommendation they gave us was spot-on. Lucca is a beautiful town, and this hotel is the ideal place to relax and truly enjoy it. One more thing — breakfast was absolutely delicious and always fresh. The woman working each morning was especially attentive and would make us the perfect coffee without us even having to ask. That personal touch made our stay feel so special. We will absolutely be back!"
