"This is my annual ice climbing group's 3rd year staying here and I have stayed with the Gowdys at other properties several other times, personally. They are amazing hosts and all their properties are great. The Bonnie Rose is a really cool old house, yet comfortable in all the ways you'd want. My client's were STOKED to read about the history of it and had a lot of fun here. The house is well stocked and the newer appliances are fantastic. The Bonnie Rose has become as much of a character on these group trips as any of the participants!"

"Wow! Couldn’t have asked for a better walkable location in Creede! Super easy check in and had extra sheets and blanket for our 21 year old son on the pull out sofa. The coffee was fantastic and the fridge was stocked with our favorite creamers! Would definitely recommend! Entry has stairs, but our host offered to help with larger luggage if we needed it (but we didn’t).Love the historical building too!"

"Host was very accommodating! even had a real Christmas tree decorated for us, interior & exterior light decorations, plus had a fire going in the stove for our late check-in! Home nicely equipped, decorated & appointed. Entire family (kids & grandkids) had a great time over Christmas holiday. "
