I can’t rate the place itself because we never did find it, even using GPS. Finally gave up & grabbed a room elsewhere. It might be a nice place to stay, but it is hard to find & if GPS is to be believed, you’ll be hauling your luggage on foot a good bit.

Le séjour à piccadilly house s'est très bien passé, les hôtes sont très accueillants et serviables. C'est très bien placé, les chambres sont au calme. La cuisine est cependant assez rudimentaire, j'attendais au moins un four... Surprise aussi de devoir régler en cash... Sinon, c'était parfait

Don't be put off by the outside of the building, once you've climbed nearly 60 stairs the door opens on a very nice sunny terrace where breakfast was served. The staff were pleasant and helpful, our room was spacious with plenty of storage. We had to share a bathroom down the corridor but it was clean and not a problem for one or two nights. Some of the surrounding streets looked pretty run down but we soon realised that everywhere in Catania is covered in graffiti so the area was probably not as bad as we feared. It's only a five minute walk from the duomo and the main sights.

The room location was great. Clean room and premises. The owner was accommodating of checkin and also let me store my bags for hours after check out. My only complaint is wifi was very very slow. As a solo traveler that is one of the necessities and it was a little disappointing on that aspect.

Grazioso ma di notte poco raccomandabile

Personale cortese e disponibile anche oltre l'orario di check in.Il b&b si trova al lato di piazza Bellini,la quale di notte si trasforma in luogo di ritrovo di sbandati. La stanza si trova al 2°piano di un palazzo senza ascensore e confinante con un'appartamento abitato da extracomunitari che per 2 notti parlavano animatamente ad alta voce. Il bagno assegnato era in comune e la doccia secondo me lasciava molto a desiderare e dovrebbero usare più detersivi.La televisione non ha mai funzionato per problemi di connessione. Nel complesso comunque è andato ha buon fine è Catania è una città bellissima.

A fine place to start our Sicilia journey....

This was a wonderful choice for our first night in Sicilia. Michele and his wife were gracious hosts, the Bnb was in an excellent location, the bed comfortable, the room quiet, and the breakfast on the terrace delightful. The one help we would offer is that Piccadilly House is located on Piazza Vincenzo Bellini, almost directly across from the Teatro Massimo, Catania's Opera House. Knowing that might help you avoid the confusion we had in finding it. Otherwise, highly recommended, and we would stay there again without a doubt if we were ever to revisit Catania. And whatever you do there, try to get to the fish market. It was easily the highlight of our stay!

Lovely and sweet Bnb!

Claudia and her parents are possibly the sweetest hosts you can find! The BnB is in an older and kitschy apartment in a great location! So easy to get to the bus, to city center and to the sights! I would so happily stay there again the next time I’m in Catania, it felt very safe and homey!
