"The resort is amazing with breathtaking view.Our room is very nice with balcony facing the bay. Breakfast buffet is plenty and variety with different foods choices. We love the service here and staffs are very friendly and polite.The resort also has electric taxi to take you to into the town with small fee. "We came to Cat Ba island with the main purpose of climbing, and picked this hotel for the perfect location right next to the best crag on the island (Butterfly Valley). The lovely owners, clean/modern room, and excellent restaurant made this the best accommodation in our entire Vietnam trip. The hotel just opened 8 months ago so there weren’t many reviews to go on - after spending a week here, we can confidently say this is one of the hidden gems of Cat Ba and the only place we’d stay at if we return.
We rented a scooter directly from the owner and went down to Cat Ba town every night for dinner and drinks. You definitely get the best of both worlds staying in a beautiful and quiet rural area while still having all the city amenities only 20 minutes away. And I can’t say enough at how wonderful the owners of this place are - they truly care about their guests, going above and beyond in so many ways to make it a great experience for us. "
