"I stayed at The Hive Hotel for four nights in May 2026. Overall, the hotel itself is fine. The location is convenient, just a short walk from Termini Station, the rooms are modern and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The rooftop terrace is a nice bonus with decent views, and the hotel feels relatively new and well-maintained. Unfortunately, the front desk/reception staff completely ruined the experience. Their attitude was consistently rude and dismissive from the moment I arrived. Check-in was cold and unwelcoming, and whenever I had a question or needed assistance, I was met with eye-rolling and very poor customer service. On one occasion, I was spoken to in a condescending tone that felt completely unnecessary. It genuinely felt like we were bothering them by being guests. The hotel itself is okay and I wouldn’t mind recommending it for the facilities, but the terrible treatment at reception makes me say this clearly: I will never stay here again."

"Great stay with an extensive buffet breakfast and made to order options. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a stocked mini fridge in the room with drinks (included). We took cabs to several restaurants I had booked through The Fork and tours I had booked through Trip Advisor (although you could walk). This is the sister hotel of Hotel Spadai in Rome with the same amenities. It was a flat rate of 50 euros for a taxi to the airport."
