"We left check-in a bit too late which came a faff as we were approaching the property on public transport. You need to check-in to obtain an entry code for the building and your room. Our own fault - we should have read the instructions earlier and checked-in to get the code. All good in the end though - the apartment was immaculate, well sited for access across the city and we'd certainly recommend to others and would revisit."

"Very happy with Icon. Entrance and access were convenient and easy, location very good, with bus stops within a 2-3 minute walk, the Lido/Cassarate area only 12-15 minute walk, and downtown only a 20-minute or so walk. The building was modern, and accommodation was very nice. Murphy bed very comfy, good kitchen and a very good bathroom with a rain showerhead. Nothing but nice things to say...we really loved it! "

"Make sure to go right next to the apartment to check in! There's a big sign that says San Carlo Hotel - you check in there for the apartment. Clean, big, has AC, very close to everything. Very good for the price."

"Simple appartment in a block of flats. The kitchen is small and poorly equipped, given the size of the flat. Be aware that it has no air-conditioning. (We noticed, because it was >33°C outside.) Big rooms, we slept well. No dedicated parking available, so we had to look elsewhere for public parking, which was no big deal, though. Communication with the agency was a disaster. "This place is very close to transit that will take you anywhere in the area. The place has plenty of room for a family of 5 like us. There is a store and cafe right downstairs which is very convenient. The host communicates well and responds quickly. The place was clean. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Lugano. "

"Owner was very responsive and the listing is spot-on. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Lovely garden, patio and hammock in which to relax. Property is well-equipped and clean. Easy 9 minute walk to downtown Lugano where there is plenty of restaurants and shopping. The property isn’t air conditioned and open windows can lend themselves to a bit of noise from cars passing by, but it’s a lovely property in a great location."
