"What an amazing place. Ocean view. Breakfast buffet was one of the largest i ever seen. Totally would go back. Walking distance to the town with many dinner opportunities. "

"Location was lovely, you definitely need a couple of days here. We came in at night and left at checkout (11am). Didn’t get to enjoy any ammenities. The beach at the bottom of the cliff is lovely. "

"We had a brief (2 nights) stay at Rocha Brava. The property was in need of an update but was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Staff were helpful and efficient. The garden areas were well kept and the pools looked inviting but were unheated so as we our stay was in early March we did not make use of them.Useful free return shuttle service which ran three times per day from the site to the local village & beach. "

"Well appointed place, great contact on arrival and exit. About 20 min walk to the beach and 4 or 5 restaurants within a 35 min walk. Get a lovely ocean view. All round a great place and highly recommended."

"Beds were excellent, soft and comfortable. Easy to fine especially with the instructions provided by the owner. Quiet neighborhood. Can walk to beach and little local restaurants and grocery store. Carvoeiro is an easy drive with easy parking. Great Thai massage in town called Six Senses. Ask for Joy, she was wonderful. Bathroom would have used some soap and other small amenities. Only sheer curtains in the bedrooms so lots of light. OK if you like the sunshine, but not if you want to sleep in. A little bit of funky smell sometimes but the town was that way as well.Overall, a wonderful location, easy to go in any direction and would highly recommend the local tours to kayak the caves "

"The house was extremely clean and the property was well cared for. While we went to the local beaches daily, the pool was a focal point. The family had so much fun swimming and goofing off there. We chose to have it heated which made it that much better. Our host was easy to communicate with and very prompt with her responses, though honestly nothing went wrong during our stay. Very peaceful neighborhood but near enough to beaches and downtown. Though I would suggest a car to get around to downtown Carvoeiro The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed taking short walks through the well maintained garden. A great experience, our family had an awesome time!. I can’t recommend this property enough. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa do Farol. We really appreciated being welcomed by the owners by phone (not only by email) and communication was great. They even suggested us various activities and restaurants. The Casa offers a lot of privacy and is at walking distance from services such restaurants and a mercado. We highly recommand."
