Great hotel, great location, lovely breakfast and very close to beach. No staff on site most of the time so have to call for anything, but staff were responsive and attentive when required. Rooms not soundproofed as it states on description, not an issue for me but noticeable for light sleepers

We had the most wonderful stay at Villa Mariazinha Charming Hotel in Portimão. Mohamed and the staff made us feel so welcome—truly gracious and lovely. The breakfast was absolutely amazing and far beyond what we expected: fresh-squeezed orange juice, great coffee, charcuterie, yogurt with honey, eggs, and even gluten-free bread specially prepared for me once they learned about my intolerance. That kind of thoughtfulness meant so much. The location is perfect—just steps from the beach and so close to all the fun and nightlife, yet still very quiet and private when you return to the hotel. We arrived with no expectations and left already dreaming about coming back. I highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portimão!

This place feels like a family run hotel. The design and finishes are well thought out, every room is different, and the staff of four(?) are vet friendly and helpful. The breakfast is incredible and it is located a half block off the tourist strip that leads to the beach. This is an amazing place to stay.

Beautiful property and room! All four staff were wonderful as they played many roles to make this small hotel operate. Wish the hotel was located in a nicer, quieter, area. The thumping music from dance club down the street was heard until 3 a.m. first night and 6 a.m. the second night. This neighborhood is built for party crowd.

Lovely Hotel near the Beach

We stayed just one night as we had an early appointment the following morning. The hotel is in an excellent location, near the beach and many places to eat and shop. It is a lively area and can be noisy though this stops before it is too late. The staff was all wonderful. The breakfast buffet was good and the seating area to eat was calm and pleasant. We had room #7 which has a large terrace, and the shower was fantastic. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Pro: The hotel was nice, clean, quiet and staff was extremely nice. Its location was excellent, including a five-minute walk to the beach. Con: The parking situation was frustrating and inconvenient, as the hotel charged €10 per day for parking but required guests to park in front of other cars. This meant frequently having to move your car to let others out, which detracted from the overall experience.

Lovely little hotel! Very clean! Breakfast is amazing. The gentleman was very attentive and friendly. My only concern and it was very small. We called apart the parking. It would have been helpful to be told we needed a code to get on the street. There was quite a jam at the gate. Would recommend and would stay again!

Quaint Boutique Hotel With Great Service!

This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. There are only 10 rooms. Breakfast was included daily and made to order. It was delicious and far more than what we needed to eat. Mohamed, the server and chef was very accommodating. His serene demeanor was delightful. The housekeeping staff was diligent and attentive. The hotel is located approx. 1,000 feet from the beach and near the main strip (shops & restaurants) it was very quiet to our surprise.
