"If you’re not renting a car, I’d strongly recommend choosing somewhere else. The hotel is far from the train station, taxis are difficult to get (especially in the evenings), and I ended up spending so much on taxis that I could have afforded a nicer hotel in Taormina or Ortigia. There are also no convenient beaches nearby. The rooms were clean, but housekeeping starts around 8 a.m. and the doors have very poor soundproofing, so I was woken every morning by noise in the corridor. Breakfast was...
