Not truly located in the village of Gamberale. It is about 4 miles down the mountain side and is near the highway. The hotel itself isn't bad but has no surrounding amenities. May be good for a large family gathering.

A truly inspiring gem that we are so thankful that we found. Rarely does an accommodation exceed expectations by unlimited amounts, this certainly did. Unpleasant aged personel.
An old fasion hotel. Only the young personal speak English. I don't like americans either but it is the international languaje. The personal at the restaurant were very unpleasant, either at Donner as at breakfast. If You don't like tourist, DONT HAVE A HOTEL.
