Disappointed that the gym closed at 7 PM - for a spa hotel it should be open much later, many chain hotels now have 24/7 gym access. Breakfast was also unnspiring, although the service was fine. Eggs were overcooked (ordered over easy), sausages were dry, Just adequate and not up to par for a nice hotel. Nothing special, far from Wadebridge (7 miles, 16 minute drive) even though Wadebridge is in the hotel address - - I thought...

「It was comfortable, clean and the staff were friendly. In sn excellent spot 5 mins walk from the beach. Only downside was when we were there they had a party of school aged children staying so the dining room was not open to us oand guests like us which meant having to search for somewhere to have breakfast or eat in our room. A mini fridge in the rooms wouldve been a great addition」

「The owners were very friendly. A cosy place, room was clean slightly dated. The room my wife and I was in had signs of an old leak on ceiling, some repairs needed but nothing serious. Both of us found the bed a little soft for our liking. There are no restaurants close by within easy walking distance, but there are plenty of choices by car within 10 - 20 mins.」
