「felt rushed out in the morning」

「Stuart Manor was like being in a dream! It was full of personality and charm. Creative and classic decor, captivating, stunningly beautiful landscape and gardens, great pool, excellent breakfast too. It is an exceptional place! So glad we stayed there! Thank you Russell!」

「A relaxing spot nestled in a park and steeped in history. A beautiful location minutes from Dickinson College Campus. I was there for a class reunion and discovered this spot as I looked for a location near the college. The owners were warm and very accommodating. Wonderful spot for a casual weekend or event.」

「Close to campus. Delicious breakfast and stocked pantry. friendly and comfortable.」

「Enjoyed my stay, loved the horses and breakfast was great!」

「Dude. You have all these people coming here and you can’t afford a mattress that」

「Wonderful stay! The property is beautiful and beautifully maintained. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable bed, great shower/towels, espresso machine/hot water kettle...so many extra touches to make the stay complete. Carter makes an amazing breakfast! Will definitely stay at Stocks Manor any time we might be in the area.」

「very nice bed and breakfast. Historic building in town in which you can walk to enjoy the town and all it's offerings. Gettysburg has so much history was nice to stay in town and enjoy it. Enjoyed our room and fellow guests. Friendly staff and excellent service. Call about Parking before you check in, in town so there is a daily fee.」

「This place is lovely-rooms, grounds, furnishings. It was awkward to have the host say a lengthy blessing before breakfast. Seemed presumptuous that a group of strangers would appreciate the exposure to a host’s personal religious practice. Giving the guests a perfunctory “ do you mind?” doesn’t make it OK.」

「Very nice place. Great location and great value. Free parking. Friendly staff. Bathroom was very nice, just could’ve used another floor cleaning. Would definitely stay again」

「Absolutely lovely B &B in the perfect location. The family that owns the property are wonderfully kind and accommodating. I usually stay in brand hotels for points but I thought I’d try something different. I love it and will be back!」

「The house is absolutely beautiful and has a museum within it of civil war artifacts. Laura and Ronald were amazing hosts and the food was delicious. Highly recommend staying here. 10/10! I can’t wait to go back.」
