"The hotel is lovely and very clean and the staff including Franco who was extremely friendly and accommodating, and Chef Marco whose homemade pastas were so delicious. We had a beautiful terrace which overlooked beautiful scenery. On Sunday morning, we were serenaded with a cacophony of church bells ringing simultaneously. It was simply beautiful. Although my tastes are more modern, for those who appreciate antiques and old world ambiance, Grande Albergo Is perfect. "

The setting is peaceful with great views, and the hot tub, new pool, sauna, and tennis court made it perfect for relaxing with friends and family. A highlight was the pasta-making lesson Antonio arranged with a local expert—using the traditional chitarra was unforgettable.The location is ideal for exploring Abruzzo’s mountains, coast, and hill towns. Antonio was a responsive and thoughtful host, even offering wine suggestions while traveling abroad. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable throughout.
