If I could give 100 stars I would! Amazing place and the food was the best we got in Abruzzo! The owners are so nice and they keep the place neat! We loved our stay at this Agriturismo

Very nice place w incredibly beautiful rooms, outdoor views, sweet and generous owners and fantastic dinners! All at a great price.
This is a beautiful property out of the way. The host couple are lovely and we asked for dinner and it was substantial delicious food from their farm. Beautiful views and surrounded by mountains on one side.
Our family's journey to Sulmona led us to the enchanting Borgo San Martino for one peaceful night, and it was a true highlight. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking mountain views unfolded before us, a vast, majestic panorama that instantly relaxed the soul. The profound quiet of the surroundings was almost magical; it was the kind of deep stillness that ensured we all slept profoundly, like babies. Waking up was equally delightful, as breakfast was a true celebration of local agritourism. The wonderful variety of fresh foods, particularly the exquisite, melt-in-your-mouth pastries, made for a perfect start to our day. Borgo San Martino offered an authentic and tranquil escape for our family.
Breath taking views and a priceless silent. The staff are chefs and they mean business. Food on prem was awesome.

It could be a great place
One must always keep in mind the type of property being reviewed. In other words, an agriturismo would not be the same as a hotel. The owners are very friendly and the room was quite large. The meals, however, are adequate but not what one might expect for the price. The position affords beautiful views, but there were things that did not function well such as the shower.
A pearl of a place. Wonderful and friendly people who own it and greeted us welcome. Room and bathroom spacious and floors had heated elements (February) . The scenery was spectacular and both dinner (3 course) and breakfast was excellent. It's a place to relax and charge your battery's. Prize it's good for what you getting in return
We will say thank from the Norwegians for your excellent service.
From the moments we arrived there and saw the beautiful stone buildings with the backdrop of the mountains and Italian countryside, I knew this was going to be a special place. We were greeted by two friendly dogs and a curious cat before interring the main living area that doubles as the breakfast/dinner area. The fireplace was burning and it was warm and cozy inside where we met the owners who were very welcoming and nice. We were escorted to our room in the back where we were pleased to find a large room with a beautiful canopy bed with a vaulted exposed beamed ceiling and opening out to the view of the mountains, the bed comfortable.
The agriturismo was amazing, the highlights were the hosts, the dinner and the beautiful pets on the property. The room was very clean, the staff would clean the rooms while we were at breakfast usually. The area is safe and was super quiet at night, you can only hear the wind. The dinners (set course) were incredible, and the hosts changed the menu every night we were there. Breakfast was a variety of pastries, fruit and coffee. The animals included beautiful and friendly cats, one which had kittens recently and 2 beautiful and awesome dogs. The property had green mountains on both sides, was just beautiful. If you want another option for dinner (but stay at the agriturismo! dinner is at 8pm), there is a village 2 miles away but make reservations in advance. Overall can't wait to visit again, esp to see the hosts, they work so incredibly hard and always have smiles on their faces. Super kind people! Will be back again!
This B&B has spacious rooms with views of distant mountains and nearby hill towns. The Borgo has country charm, and the dining area has beautiful stone walls that are warmly lit and accented with antiques. The optional evening meals were delicious; be sure to make a dinner reservation a day in advance.
The Abbateggio foothills are laced with narrow roads that your navigation system may tell you take. Avoid them. To stay on the wide main road, set your first destination to San Valentino, and then reset your system for Borgo San Martino. The final half-mile is on a bumpy country road you’ll get used to with time.
For pet lovers, the owners of the Agriturismo have a delightful menagerie of dogs, cats, and kittens who all want to be your best friend. The inn is an exceptional value for those who want to get away from it all. Enjoy!
When I see near perfect online reviews, I’m sometimes suspicious if they’re ‘real’ reviews. But after staying here I’m wondering why everyone didn’t give perfect reviews. “Wow!” This property is beautiful! The location, property, rooms, and service were all outstanding. Our stay was in mid-March and while there was still a wintery feel outside, the trees were starting to bud and we had amazing weather. It’s very peaceful at this location with beautiful views all around. The room was beautiful and had a rustic feel but was clean, well designed, well decorated, great use of space, and had modern amenities. The communities in the area are enjoyable and there are natural as well as historical attractions in the area. The previous two places we had stayed on our road trip vacation had horrible beds. We were so relieved to arrive and find a very comfortable and spacious bed that allowed us to get great sleep. My only complaint about the room is that the headboard and footboard of the bed were not actually attached to the frame holding the mattress. Because of this, if I accidentally touched either the headboard or footboard, it easily moved and squeaked a lot. Since I’m taller I had to try to place myself perfectly in the middle to avoid bumping with my head or feet while sleeping.
They offer breakfast and dinner services. We only took them up on one day of breakfast since we were out exploring the area all the other times. We hope to be able to go back soon to stay here.

What a fantastic place, owners very welcoming and room was lovely. A lot of thought has gone into restoring this house into a hotel. Lovely feel about it. Clean, good food and very nice people
Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by John Carlo - it was dark and getting there was a little tricky but in the end worth every ounce of energy it took to navigate the winding mountain roads. Like other reviews, our only regret was not being able to stay longer. My daughter, granddaughter and I came to see the Holy Veil of Manoppello (an unforgettable and moving pilgrimage). The accommodations, warm kindness, delicious home cooking and absolutely magnificent surroundings make this hotel a true gem. Many thanks to the warm hosts for making our stay a home away from home.
