"I never post negative reviews but this experience was awful. The room was dirty and had a lingering musty smell. The lights did not work upon entering. The room had dirt throughout. There were hairs on the bed and a stray toilet brush in the elevator. I also didn’t realize there’s a federal prison right behind the hotel. Which did not set well with my small children. I will say this was one of the worst hotel experiences I ever had. The only positive was the front desk staff were very kind. Unfortunately, we will not be stay again. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here.The house is much larger than it seems. We loved the cozy fireplace and the sight of deer outside our window every morning. The proximity to Canaan Valley was a great advantage. We highly recommend this place!"

"The room was clean and the king bed was quite comfortable. The heater was a bit loud but very effective, and the heated air fan in the bath was a nice touch; plenty of hot water, too. The microwave oven was small but worked well, and the mini-fridge was bigger than many we've seen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and cheerfully accomodated our late arrival. "
