「This was a perfect location for a stay in Madiera. Nice view, free parking, and all the amenities anyone could want in the room. So many thoughtful extras like wine, bottled water, shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, washing machine and drying rack, etc. I would definitely stay again. 」

「This place is terrible. Not enough staff, unhelpful staff (no offer to help with luggage etc.), check in process was slow, room was unclean and it’s run down. Just a weird vibe and I’d never stay here again. 」

「Beautiful hotel and grounds! Friendly and helpful staff, delicious food! A wonderful all inclusive experience. We had a beautiful room with an extra large balcony with partial view. Room was always cleaned daily and towels changed. We enjoyed the location, the ample parking and the grounds. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and we all enjoyed the buffet, kulinarium restaurant and the evening shows. We are already planning our next trip there! 「Het hotel is een pareltje in een prachtige tuin met wijds uitzicht. Fijne bedden, kitchinette en lekkere douche. Let op koken kan niet in de kamer. Het personeel is uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het geheel is antiek, eclectisch ingericht met veel bijzondere items. Het ontbijt is verrukkelijk: vers bereid. De tuin heeft tal van leuke zitjes en een mooi zwembad wat helaas voor begin april nog te koud was om in te zwemmen. Kortom zeker aan te raden.」

「Pictures in the website do not truly reflect the actual condition of the place. It’s dated and in need of some basic maintenance. Doors catching on the floors, tarnished brass on door handles, musty smell, … overall appearance is tired and could do with a freshen up. Room service/cleaning only done if booked the day before (and before 6 pm) which was sneakily put through. Not what I would expect for the price charged, it should be by default!
