Great stay!

Great hotel, great single room, good outdoor pool. Super easy to get to/from the airport as only 5min drive away and not bothered by plane sounds.

A great place to stay close to the airport. A walk to the town and the beach front is worthwhile to see the real Madeira. It has a modern interior with traditional and historical possessions around to give it atmosphere Out of season the restaurant had a limited menu (not the one on the outside wall) but there was a good crowd in for the food

This is a basic hotel. The showers need a thorough deep clean. The roof top pool is beautiful but there are no pool towels. The restaurant was closed which was not posted on their website when we booked. The positive was that it was near the airport for an early flight.

The property is 5 min away from the airport. The staff was friendly and professional. They made arrangements for transport to the airport and also arranged for us to have breakfast before leaving a little earlier than usual, they also offered a packed breakfast to go if we wanted which I thought was great. Thank you to the staff.

Very nice indeed!

Stayed for a night before flying home. Hotel was really nice, the Aircon certainly worked on the 3rd floor, so well we turned it off. Very comfortable clean and modern. Pool looked nice. Their restaurant by the Church just down the road gave us the best meal of our trip and was 10% off. Exceptional steak on the stone, very cheap!

Not a 4-starhotel as advertised

We stayed here for two nights. The location was very convenient…easy walk to the ocean strip. This is not a 4 star hotel as advertised…3 star at the most. Room was small, refrigerator was noisy and had to be replaced, breakfast offering was sub-standard and parking was a tree-for-all exercise to get one of the very few spots on the street. The best part was the upper sun deck and pool that were very nice.

This stay saved my night!

This hotel was a blessing! My flight arrived late and it made me lose my car rental reservation as the office was closed. But with a quick and cheap taxi ride it only took me 10 minutes to get there! On my arrival the receptionist gave me my keys right away and I went straight too my room without wasting time in check in. The room was large, the bed so comfortable and I had such a good sleep. The breakfast was nice as well, and I had fun in playing the piano in the lobby. One night stay was also so cheap! Highly recommended!

We were excited to stay here for one night to be able to get to the airport easily. They don’t provide a shuttle but it was a $10 taxi ride from the hotel. We unfortunately were given a room where the AC did not work so it was a hot box the entire night. My husband went downstairs to ask about the AC and they replied back that the cleaners were just in there and it is working. We said it’s not working so what should we do? She said try these steps and it will work. We said if we try these steps and it doesn’t work, what do we do? And she said it will work. We tried all the steps multiple times and it was still a hot box. Since we had to wake up at 3:30am for our flight we didn’t want to deal with it and tried to go to sleep. To say the least, it was not a good nights sleep that we needed before a long journey home. This hotel has so many good reviews and that’s why we chose it so that’s disappointing. Our bed was also poorly made and there were hairs (from previous guests) on the floor and the bathroom floor. Since we slept poorly, we wish we would have just paid a little more to stay in Funchal and wake up earlier to the airport.

Das Hotel ist zweckmäßig und in der Nähe des Flughafens gelegen. Den Charme eines typischen Hotels von Madeira hat es allerdings nicht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis ist wirklich erstaunlich.

Nous avons fait le tour de l'île et logé dans 6 hôtels différents. Celui-ci fut le moins cher, mais également l'un des meilleurs. Tous les services sont là, c'est propre, c'est confortable, il y a une piscine sympa, une salle de sport, des espaces communs agréables (canapés, livres, plantes, etc.), la petite ville de Santa Cruz accessible à pied avec des restaurants, des bars et la plage, des places de stationnement à proximité, ainsi que l'aéroport à 5 minutes en taxi. Alors ok, pas de vue grandiose depuis la chambre, mais très pratique, confortable, agréable. On aurait pu y rester bien plus longtemps que 2 nuits !
