"Our host Maurizio, added quite a few extra layers of enjoyment to our stay. A brilliant host who went above and beyond to make our holiday truely memorable! We have invited him to come stay with us when he visits Australia. As for the farm house it’s self, an amazing experience to live like a true Italian. Our family of 10 (adults and kids) spent 2 weeks at Villa Maria and would recommend it for its amenities and location. The host, Tomasso, and chef, Donato, were the ultimate guides and helpers. "Great location in the heart Chianti. The host was very welcoming and the apartment was perfect. very comfortable bed and very quiet location. Nice terrace and pool but unfortunately the weather wasnt warm enough for us to enjoy the pool. There is a dirt road to get to the apartment but very easy to navigate so dont be worried about it. "The property is beautifully located in a very tranquil hamlet. At the moment the house and garden are not being maintained adequately. During our stay we had no hot water for the first few days and the internet connection that was advertised was not available. The kitchen had not been properly cleaned and there was food in the cupboards that had gone out of date long before our arrival. "We had the trip of a lifetime at this wonderful home. Sherri, the property manager, made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival and organized a truffle hunt and wine tasting with her lovely local connections. She also introduced us to her favorite restaurants nearby (they were amazing) and told us where to shop. And the house itself is stunning- it should be in a movie about Tuscany. Cannot wait to go back!"

"This hotel is wonderful with beautiful views from the terrace! The only complaint is the number of stairs you have to take if staying on upper floors (no elevator) - my husband has a bad back so that’s a consideration. Also, wish they would accommodate all the guests in the gourmet restaurant as we couldn’t get a reservation during our 2-day stay! Book ahead of time!"

"This was a beautiful location. The room was spacious and loved the patio for coffee in the mornings. It was very private. We enjoyed the pool and restaurants were great. Breakfast was amazing. We did the picnic and dinner in the Olive Garden and loved getting to know others at our table. The chefs food choices were so wonderful. We would definitely stay again. "
