I loved the balcony view. I will admit: it took me several attempts to get the balcony door open to actually enjoy the balcony itself, but I was determined to sit with my cup of tea out there and watch the water.

Great hotel, great location

Good location with a view over the estuary. Room was comfortable and clean. Food was very good and the staff were very friendly and looked after us very well. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

On the whole, our stay was good.The staff were very helpful and we both enjoyed the two meals we had. The hotel is in transtion at the moment coming under new ownership. Its down side is it location being at the extreme edge of Burntisland and the fact that the main fife costal railway was on the other side of the road, so it was quiet unless a train was going by. The hotel has regular bus services going by. Locals are happy to come in for their evening meals which is usually a good sign.

Nice friendly welcome. Room overlooking the sea. Comfortable clean room. Had dinner at the hotel. Very nice curry with the staff again trying to make you enjoy the experience. Would visit again when up there again. Allowed me to work on after the official check out time.

Lovely staff and location. I asked for a room with a bath on check in, they asked for an extra £30. The hotel was quiet so this was a disappointment. Limited menu and the food was okay. The back of the hotel where our view was contained empty bottles on the hillside and a water pipe! It’s tired but the pleasantness of the staff made up for it.
