"Lovely accommodation above a local inn with very nice restaurant. Room was beautifully presented with both bath and shower room and bed was very comfortable. Food is served in a great restaurant, being part of the pub and clearly a favourite with locals. The menu was excellent with fish and meat courses and breakfast was equally as good. Very friendly staff, good food and wonderful room. The perfect combination! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. "

"We stayed 5 nights in October half term and had a lovely stay.The cottage is very cosy and ideally located to spend time in the Peak district. Recommend the local Indian takeaway just around the corner and also the Goyt in which is only a couple of minutes walk away.Kitchen could do with a few more items, such as a baking and roasting tray but this didn't affect our stay.All in all a really lovely cottage in a lovely location. We're already considering coming back for a couple of nights in November."

"Castle House stands in the grounds of a small castle. It has an electric gated entrance and there are CCTV cameras everywhere - even on the hot tub. The property has recently gone through renovation and is very modern and well maintained throughout. TVs in bedroom 1, lounge and kitchen with full Sky packages, Kitchen has everything you need and hot tub and sauna were an excellent addition. Beds were very comfortable. Small negatives: couple of chipped cups, dusty unit in bedroom 1, bathroom downstairs which can be a bit far away from bedroom 1 through night if you need the loo. Car must be parked at the side of property which could be snug for some larger vehicles. Overall we had a lovely couple of nights and would return."
