「Clean rooms and breakfast area」

「The staff members were friendly and helpful. The hotel appeared clean but the staff uses really strong smelling cleaning supplies as if they are hiding odors. There were odd smells in the hallways and in our room at times. The carpet in our room was torn and dirty. The breakfast was not very good. The hotel was okay. We travel a lot and would probably choose another hotel next time we visit the area.」

「The rooms at the Rocky gap Casino are big which are nice. And the bathrooms are large and nice, the toilets are low, however. The general cleanliness of the room was just mediocre, it could use a dusting and a good vacuuming. Great to have the casino on property. The view the outside and the outdoor accommodations are beautiful.」

「Very helpful staff and the property is in a very pretty location with trees everywhere, but also close to a ton of things. The main issue is this property is old, i mean really old. For example, the A/C works like you would expect a 50 year old A/C to work. I will stay here again.」

I called ahead and asked for extra caffeinated coffee in my room to make coffee and when I arrived they gave me 4 packets of DEcaffeinated coffee and told me they didn't have any coffee with caffeine. 「Entire property seemed worn and not well maintained. Our bathtub had a large puddle stain, the quiet close toilet seat was difficult to open and would not close on its own. The TV, while a good brand, did not have its original remote so they borrowed a remote from a DVD player. It took a trip to the front desk to get someone to decipher it's use. 「The shower leaked and because it was a roll in shower it came into the bathroom floor. We had to put towels down to prevent slipping. Definitely a liability. Then we did find dried blood on the wall near the bathroom door. Unfortunately we didn't find that until the day we left or I would have asked for another room.
