The customer service couldn't be worse. Check in was fine, but arriving at the room one of the beds (the sofa bed) had no sheets, pillows or blankets. 2 work colleagues traveling we needed two beds as advertised. I called a half hour after check in and was told someone would bring them (after having to send a picture: weird). I called 1.5 hours later to confirm and was assured again. No one ever came. Later that night my colleague found alternate accommodation. The next day Smartflats would not own the situation at all, ignored the fact the person on the phone promised the sheets and basically said it was my fault for not letting them know in advance that i needed both beds so cannot do anything to compensate me or my colleague for the great trouble. Luckily we had an alternative but the customer service at Smartflats is atrocious.

The property management didn’t picked the phone when I wanted to communicate with them. When I texted them to asked for an short extension for checkout, they offer me to pay 50 euros to checkout at 2 pm or 100 to leave at 5pm. We left the suitcase at the train station for 6 euros. The water heater didn’t work well at night and the unit heater was not working that well. There were mold in the shower, the bathroom was very cold. The property is charming but looks better in pictures. It is centrally located but we will not recommend this place, we stayed before in better places in Brussels paying less and receiving better services.

Condition of the flat was sub standard. Also no soap or shower gel, no shampoo. Hot and noisy (street) in the summer. My room was up 3 double flights of very narrow stairs. Not my cup of tea

Misleading photo at reservation (we did not get the room that was in the picture). TV and WiFi were not working on arrival and it took until the next day to get them fixed. Otherwise, a spacious and hip and comfortable place in a nice neighborhood. Would be excellent if not for the stated flaws.

Great flat in central location, a bit noisy though
I stayed here for three nights for a business trip, and the apartment was excellent for this purpose. It is a good-sized, modern flat, very centrally located, with restaurants, bars and bakeries all around. I liked the fact that I could check myself in and enter the flat with a code instead of waiting for reception. The flat itself is quite modern and comfortable with all amenities provided. Be aware that there is no lift in the building and the stairs to the flat are very narrow and steep. It is a bit of a balance act to carry your luggage upstairs... The one other factor one should be aware of is that the location is quite noisy - it is located right at the junction of a fairly busy road and the traffic goes on most of the night. Coming from London, I am used to traffic noise but it is definitely something I noticed. The walls in the building are also a bit thin: I could hear the neighbours coming home at night. If you are a light sleeper, this might not be for you.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in the top flat in Sablon. We knew there would be stairs but there was so many, we did not realise and it was so hard to carry up our luggage. It was like a workout everytime we climbed them. We were told someone would clean the flat ONCE during our stay, nobody came at all. We had to re-use bath towels after hand washing them, buy our own toilet roll as we ran out and take our rubbish to a public bin as we didn't want to leave the flat untidy when we left after 5 days. The tap in the bathroom was full of dried in toothpaste and same with the wall behind. The kitchen table was also full of stains. The TV did not work when we first arrived but luckily, a technician came the following day to fix that. I would not stay here again.

Hello Jessica, There is indeed a lot of stairs, as it is the case in most ancient building in this neighborhood. I hope you found the view on the Sablon from the top floor worth the effort. We clean after your stay or if you stay longer than 5 days, then we will clean once a week. Since your stay was 5 days, this is not our procedure to do a cleaning. You can always ask for one though. Thank you for taking out the trash, note that we do take care of this after your stay. I'll have our field team check the tap but I think it is most probably limestone stains and not toothpaste. I am sorry that your were disappointed with your stay and I would be happy to welcome you in an other Smartflats residence to provide you with an experience that will best suits your needs. Loud and Hot
The accommodations of the hotel we're ok. It was placed in a very busy intersection in a loud Square. Our trip was in the middle of the summer and the sun hit the apartment during the day which made it very hard to come home to. There is very little circulation in the apartment which allowed for a sleepless night. Upon sharing this information with Smartflats they took no action.

Hébergement avec un minimum d entretien : prise sans cache, pas gel douche sur son support, coussins inexistants par rapport à la photo, pas de balai, nettoyage au minimum dans les sanitaires, nettoyage du WC à minima, pas de savon, carreaux jamais faits très sales, 2 fourchettes pour 4, peu de vaisselle, rien d affiché sur le tri. Mycket bra läge, fantastisk utsikt. Men lite svårtillgänglig med smala höga trappor. Jag hade lite för stor och tung resväska för fyra våningar. Inget för någon som har svårt att gå eller ont i knäna. Underbart läge och trevlig studio för övriga.

Apartamento a evitar
No tiene ascensor y las escaleras son muy estrechas y altas, es muy incómodo subir y bajar y más si vas con maletas. El mantenimiento del apartamento es pésimo, enchufes arrancados, la tele no funciona, no es posible regular la calefacción. El lavavajillas estaba sucio y al abrirlo salió un hedor terrible. Tuvimos que abrir todas las ventanas para que el olor se fuera. El agua caliente de la ducha funciona muy mal y hay que ducharse con agua casi fría. No volveré. Ha sido una mala experiencia

Charmant appartement midden in Brussel
Dit is een charmant appartement midden in het centrum van Brussel, aan een pleintje. 's Avonds wel veel drukte en herrie buiten, maar de ruime deuren sluiten heel goed af. Er is een prima bed, en dan afgescheiden door een wand is er een bedbank, bij de TV. Wifi werkte niet toen ik er was.

Muy bien hubicado a escasos 5 minutos de la estacion central y metro. No apropiado para personas con movilidad reducida. Si vuelvo a Bruselas será mi primera opción.

Não recomendo.
A localização do hotel é excelente. Muito boa mesmo. Próximo a diversos pontos turísticos, restaurantes e a uma loja da Godiva. Porém, nossa experiência não foi das melhores. No início, nos deparamos com uma escada íngrime e estreita, realmente muito difícil de subir com malas. O quarto é espaçoso e tem aquecedor (pontos positivos). Contudo, a televisão não funcionava e tivemos problemas com água quente, que acabava rapidamente. Com o frio, era muito difícil não ter água quente. Em relação à limpeza, também não achamos que estivesse na melhor condição possível. Então, de um modo geral, considero minha experiência negativa.

El apartamento esta bien y bien situado,no tiene ascensor,las escaleras son estrechas,si llevas varias maletas, complicado, al entrar a las tres de la tarde la limpieza del apartamento no estava hecha y tuvimos que volver mas tarde,al ser un apartamento no nos hicieron la limpieza en toda la semana, o sea que da igual que estes uno,dos,tres dias o una semana entera que no pasaran a limpiarte el apartamento ni camviarte las toallas i si pides toallas son 5 euros mas

Etablissement neuf. Livré un peu trop tôt. Les finissions inachevés, odeures de peintures, limails de fer au sol, senseo non purgée,barre pour les cintres inexistant, wifi pas génial... De petits détails à noter pour une prochaine nouveautés, mais insignifiants par rapport au cadre et au service très efficaces. Apparte hôtel dans l'ensemble très bien. Je le conseille fortement.
