「I strongly advise others to avoid staying at this property. My experience was completely unacceptable and raised serious safety concerns. The room was not secure. Neither the door nor the windows locked properly, making me feel unsafe throughout my stay. A hotel should provide the most basic level of security for its guests, and this property failed to do so. The website also falsely advertised that the room had air conditioning. When I discovered there was no air conditioning, I called the...

「Stains on sheets and comforter, tv is completely useless - no working channels or apps, bad smell in the room was covered up with a bad smelling spray, bathroom lights flicker and bunch of marks and missing paint spots all over the walls. Location is good」

「We recently stayed at Bruce Peninsula Motel and were shocked at the level of cleanliness. The washroom was completely uncleaned — there was even a used tissue with a squashed mosquito stuck to the door, which was never removed. The overall hygiene standards were unacceptable, and it made the stay very uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the money, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.」

「I had a very nice time at Sweet Retreat! Some recommendations/feedback: a different universal remote (I could not get the buttons to work when using the dvd player), provide or inform renters that they need to bring oven mitts (I could not find any) and consider adding the wifi password to the info sheet by the door (could only get the wifi password by using wifi/data to access the Expedia app). Overall, it was a very nice week!」
