"Lovely stay and came across the stunning Offa cocktail bar inside. Staff very helpful however a couple of points not so enjoyable- shower over the bath was difficult to work it . No hook on back of the bathroom door it hadn’t been replaced just the marking where the old one had been. Didn’t sleep very well as the quilt was very thin it felt like a summer quilt. No extra blankets in room . Central location for everything is great. "

"Disappointing all round. Room tired and shabby, plus not thoroughly cleaned. Spa showing its age (eg not all pool jets working). 30 min spa massage was actually closer to 20 mins. Emailed final bill included a “optional” service charge that could not be declined I.e not optional. "

"We have stayed here 4 or 5 times and each time the standards have dropped. Cleanliness is an issue. Rooms are dusty and the Rom we were allocated had a dirty glass left on a shelf. We reported it and the room was upgraded. Attention to detail is needed, the showers are grimy and full of limescale around the shower doors. This used to be a great place to stay but I would think twice about going back unless things change. This feedback is written in order off it to be constructive and in the hope they will act."

"Clean room, great shower and super comfy bed. Great amenities. Hotel clean and great location with parking. Well equipped gym and pool area. Buffet breakfast was great. Friendly and helpful staff"

"Plenty of parking, looking dated and shabby. Hot breakfast was sausages, boiled eggs,beans and hash browns, bread for toast,no bacon and no top ups to buffet containers"

"Very smelly. I know it accepts dogs but it just stunk of wet dog everywhere. They had to put plug ins along the corridors because they had so many complaints. So noisy aswell. Hardly any staff about. I didnt have enough bedding in my room either "
