Excellent stay at Cottage Lodge

Had a great stay in a beautiful room. Was made so welcome with coffee and cake on arrival and my name of a parking space. Breakfast was excellent. I will definitely use the hotel next time I'm in the New Forest. My only complaint - I wasn't there long enough.

This is a lovely place to stay and in a fabulous location. The personalised parking space is a really nice touch and the food was very good indeed. Staff were polite and helpful and the owner very professional and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

I treated my mom to a weekend away at New Forest last weekend and we stayed at Cottage Lodge Hotel - the room was amazing, super clean and fantastically maintained. The hosts were super sweet and kind. The breakfast was exceptional!! A lot of information for routes around the forest and information for the village and nearby towns. We both look forward to returning back - I really can’t recommend this place enough. We loved absolutely everything!

A very compact cottage Hotel in a very pleasant village with a most welcoming Manager and staff, not to mention Morritzi’s (so sorry if I have misspelt his name) friendly dog called Pluto! What a lovely hotel this is, it was a pleasure to meet the staff who were all just so friendly and helpful. Our bedroom was simply fabulous. Perfect location for anyone wanting to explore the New Forest, within a stones throw of the village and pubs. We will most definitely be back.

Lovely Winter Stay

My stay at Cottage Lodge was short and sweet (2 nights). The check-in was welcoming, enhanced by a lovely cup of tea and cake. The room (William 1st) was very spacious with all the basic amenities, e.g. coffee-making facilities, towel warmers, heater, hairdryer etc. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and delivered with a smile. Highly recommend and hope to be back with friends in the spring or summer.
