"The breakfast was great! They also have a cocktail and snack hour each day. The pool area was nice except the drains around the pool needed to be cleaned and only a small portion of the pool was usable during a chunk of time in the afternoon/evening for guests due to being used for swim lessons. "

"I was delighted to discover that the entire building is going through a renovation. My room was newly re-done, clean, and good. I'd say staying here is about expectations though. This is an affordable place to stay in a nice area that is close to the metro, restaurants, etc. I didn't see any staff after I checked in, but Etie helped me get settled by getting an ironing board and iron during check-in. Lost Sock is a great coffee house located on the far side of the metro. I didn't know we had laundry machines in the building. I didn't need that though. Again, if you want an affordable, clean, safe place to stay that's close to DC, this is for you. If you want all the amenities of a full hotel, you'll pay double to be in DC."
