"We had a lovely 2 night stay at Stirrups. My daughter and I were going to Royal Windsor Horse Show and thought it would be nice to stay in an equine themed hotel! It is a lovely looking building on arrival, there is plenty of parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a function on the second night of our stay, and the hotel had already contacted us to let us know, and said we would be put in a quiet part of the hotel. We stayed in "The Stables" which is a modern building at the back of the hotel. We had a lovely large family room with views over the garden. The room was very spacious and well equiped- with a full size ironing board and very large en suite with bath and separate walk in shower. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel was 15-20 minute drive from Windsor which was convenient for our trip. It cost approximately £20 for a taxi into Windsor when we went to meet friends at a restaurant. On the second night we ate at Stirrup's restaurant, the food was very good, my daughter enjoyed her meal from the kids menu and there was a good selection on the main menu, (mid to higher end prices). Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area!"

"Host was more than accommodating. I had expressed concerns about our 2nd floor room and she upgraded me to a better room on the 1st floor without request. Seemed to really be concerned about her guests. Breakfast was excellent and she was quite attentive and personable. The room was in excellent condition with only a minor hiccup with the hot water late at night when taking a shower but was working perfectly the next morning. Having a microwave in our room was perfect for those that choose to eat-in with store bought meals. Beds were quite comfortable. Plenty of space in our room. Stairs might be a little tight and steep for some but was manageable. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the UK and this area again."

"Stayed here last minute as only 30 mins from Heathrow and I was only staying a short time. It was great value for money. Rooms are dated but this was not an issue for me. Guy on reception was really friendly and went out of his way to make sure i would be able to check in late. Would stay here again"
