"After having a bad experience at our previous hotel, we decided to book Solaria last minute for the last part of our trip so as to hopefully have a more comfortable and clean experience - we are SO glad we did! Solaria was by far the best stay we had on our month long trip (2 weeks in Japan and 2 weeks in Taiwan) we stayed for 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer - I would have stayed for a whole month! It was exceptionally clean in the entire hotel (lobby, laundry, rooms, etc), a warm and modern design, and we felt extremely safe staying here during the typhoon as well. Even on days we didn't get room cleaning service, they left extra towels and water at our door. The air conditioning worked great, and we loved the room layout...honestly there's nothing I could even pick to complain about. And even though it's right in Ximending which is a very busy area and can be chaotic, we felt so comfortable coming back to our hotel every night and felt very safe too. Would 10/10 recommend and definitely would stay here again."
"Every staff member was just so lovely. They were so helpful and ready to answer all our queries. We basically got stuck in the hotel for two days due to Typhoon Bavi and being Singaporeans, we had pretty basic knowledge about the kind of prep to take. But thanks to the great team here, we had a safe and great time still. Also, the location is awesome. Literally across from Ximending. Even with Bavi’s disruption, we had no problem getting food."
"Local cuisine for buffet. Simple which was perfect. Check in was easy. Location was just across the from the start of the main hub of Ximending. Mr. Chiang was very helpful and assured us what would happen during the typhoon. I’d stay here again most definitely."
"Flight delayed due to typhoon so we stayed a night at the Regent, was nothing short of amazing. Large spacious clean rooms, and the amenities were stellar. The rooftop pool was closed so we missed seeing it, next time. If you think you know buffets, don’t miss checking out this one, it’s incredible. So glad we were able to experience the Regent!"
"Caesar Metro Hotel is located in a busy district area. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants and others surrounding it. Breakfast was good! Nearby there are train station and the subway (tube). It's convenient to go anywhere from here due to its location. The hotel itself is huge with many guests checking in and out during the peak hours. The room is equivalent to many other hotels in terms of room setting and decorations. But the only good things which I like is the cleanliness that they had maintained. It needs a few touch up on the room and toilets to make it look great! The staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!"
"Had a decent stay at this hotel. It is pretty close to Taipei Main Station, and as soon as you walk in, there's a self-check in terminal to get your room key. There's also a front desk if you'd prefer to check in at reception. The room itself was decent, had good a/c, and was clean. Breakfast was paid in advance and it was your standard Taiwan continental-style breakfast, complete with several different choices for bread, plus fruits and salad, as well. What I didn't enjoy was having to clean my own table and carry my tray to the other side of the room when I was finished eating. I'm a guest - not an employee, and this shouldn't a responsibility of the guest. Overall, I would consider staying here again simply for the location and price."
"I absolutely loved my stay here! A super convenient location close by various train and bus lines (about 10 min walk). There are multiple convenient stores nearby, Watsons, and places to eat. Clean and air conditioned rooms. A 24-hour lounge to rest in with water, snacks, drinks, and even ice cream to enjoy. Spacious room with amenities (although note that Taiwan has specific rules on amenities, so you should bring some things like toothbrushes/toothpaste/combs etc.) They have hotel information and guides in various languages via QR code, so it was very easy to find what you needed. The staff are all very helpful and attentive. I also liked being able to take the stairs down if I didn't want to wait for the elevator. Overall, I would definitely stay again during my next trip!"
