Mountain cabin

Great cozy relaxing cabin. Sat in the hot tube with a fire going. Had deer walking in the yard most mornings, and even caught some nice perch in the pond.

What a beautiful cabin

Check in was smooth, stay was comfortable. Everything was so clean and perfect. Beds were very comfortable. Everything worked, kitchen was pretty well stocked with appliances and utensils. Beautiful view and location. Very convenient to downtown Blue Ridge. We will definitely stay here again!!

Great cabin for a small family

As long as you only need 2 bedrooms, this place is excellent! We enjoyed the indoor fireplace and the hot tub. They're was plenty of paper towels, TP, and even bath gel, lotion, shampoo and conditioner available, which was awesome. The ponds at the bottom of the driveway were lovely and we liked watching the goose that hung out there. We even saw a deer in the woods outside the cabin one morning!

Blue Ridge

It was a great place for just the two of us. It was in a beautiful location. It is close to Blue Ridge. About 5 min. There are several restaurants in town. Chain and local. There is a vistor center downtown by the train depot. Even businesses right by it seemed to not know where it wasexactly. We got a lot of great info on the area from the nice lady there. I would bring an extra blanket if you can. There were only sheets and comforters.

Lack of customer service

The cabin is truly beautiful and everything we were hoping for. Great location, very private, clean and the perfect place to unwind. Unfortunately during our stay a tornado came through and took out power for most of the area. My complaint is with the management company of the cabin. They never reached out to us to see if we were OK or ask if we needed anything. When I took the initiative to reach to them to state we were OK and the cabin did not have any damage, but that we were without power, they simply responded back with 'sorry for the inconvenience'. They never asked if we wanted to check out early to find somewhere with power and never offered a discount if we chose to stay. We ultimately chose to stay as we wanted other locations to be available for the elderly or families with children who truly needed electricity. We lost groceries, had to go out and buy flashlights and candles, and had other unexpected expenses. We never heard back from the management company until it was time to check out and they reminded us of our checklist of items to do before leaving. We still did not have power when we checked out but they did not even ask if it was restored. We understand that the tornado was unexpected but their lack of concern or offer to give a credit of any kind is very disappointing.

The house was clean, but the outdoor spaces were not maintained as well. In most mountain homes we’ve rented there was a nice outdoor fire pit to have some enjoyable family time, s’mores, etc. Also, this is the first place where we’ve stayed where there wasn’t a little firewood even for the outdoor fireplace.

Perfect Anniversary Trip

This cabin had everything we could ask for! The hot tub, outdoor fireplace, beds were comfy, cabin was immaculate! The stars at night take your breath away. It was just perfect. Close to Blue Ridge, orchards, wineries, and spas. The only thing not in working order was the tv bedroom remotes. I am sure they just needed batteries. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this cabin again!

Family vacation

Cabin was great a little dusty but nice. Beds were comfortable. The driveway is super steep. The ponds near the cabin are great two friendly geese live there so bring some bread crumbs.

Great cabin!

Cabin was great! Had everything we needed! However, in reading the reviews, I see that no one mentioned the steepness of the driveway. It is a little tricky especially when snowing which it was during our stay. Otherwise, great stay!

Fell a little short of 5 stars

Cabin is in a great area. The cabin is not as secluded as pictures seem. You will have people on their main porch looking at you in the hot tub. Be careful walking on the first landing of the front porch there are rotten boards that you can easily fall through. Parking area is muddy and slippery all the way to the steps. (No concrete or gravel designated walk way) The master bedroom tv does not work and way outdated.

Perfect in every way

This was the perfect vacation for our first mountain vacation. My 3.5 year old loved being close to the pond. We went fishing every day. It’s so close to down town as well. The house was very clean and so cozy! We did find 2 small scorpions when we checked in. One in the bath tub and the other at the bottom of the stairs (which my son thought it was just a dead bug - he learned that day what a scorpion is and that they sting because he tried to pick it up) No big deal, we are in the mountains- so just check tubs etc. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

Quiet getaway

Perfect cabin experience we were looking for. Loved all the wood furniture and the layout. Lots of towels were provided as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap. They even had some firewood available. Loved that the hot tub was already heated upon our arrival. Communication with the host was great, quick response times. Would definitely stay here again!
