「I booked the Cedarcrest Inn for my fiancé‘s birthday weekend. We had never stayed at a bed-and-breakfast and she was pleasantly surprised by the charm and history of the Cedarcrest Inn. Craftsmanship of the original property remains, you will be pleased. The staff was extremely helpful in every aspect. I’d left a couple shirts behind in the room after we departed. They called and informed me were nice enough to mail those shirts to me at my home. We will definitely be returning to the Crest...

「これぞアメリカといった感じの建物で、日本で言えば高原の軽井沢にのんびりいる感じ。 家具調度が凝っていて落ち着きのあるホテルでした。テラスのロッキングチェアで夕方に供されるワインとオードブルでくつろぎました。朝食はフルーツたっぷりのヨーグルトとフレンチトースト。 古いしつらえの建物なのでエレベーターはありません。部屋に持っていく荷物は軽く！ 出会った老夫婦は以前にこの近所のホテルに来たことがあって、今度は是非ここに泊まりたいと思って来たのだと言ってました。 クイーンサイズベッドはちょっと狭く、それが失敗でした。」

「Emaculate historic inn within a couple blocks of many ships and restaurants. The owners very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant is most likely the best in town. A must stay when visiting Black Mountain.」

「The only problem was the fact that the room we booked was in a basement with no windows and a very strong musty smell. The good thing was that Rodger was able to accommodate us by switching rooms and those rooms were very nice. He made a lovely breakfast.」
