「From checking in to checking out, this hotel was great! I appreciated Scott at check-in very much. 「Robert on reception was accommodating when I arrived around 11pm to no restaurant being open… that was a long day/drive… all staff friendly and helpful. The only negative was I couldn’t pump the shower gel as the metal case was in a weird spot… great breaky. 」

「Brilliantly clean room, nice and spacious. Lovely friendly staff. Modern bathrooms. Relaxed atmosphere and very peaceful. The town is really nice with lots of history. Stayed there to attend a wedding at the local Cornhill Castle which is literally just 10 minutes by cab. The Kirkstyle was so convenient. Breakfast was so generous in its portions and superbly cooked. 」

「Had a lovely overnight stay here. I arrived early as I was attending a wedding and was able to access my room no problem to get ready. Room has recently been re-furbished and is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good too. I would have no hesitation in returning.」

「This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!」

「Having stayed in Wanlockhead for a week at the end of June 2021, this property seemed like an ideal overnight stay during a house move from the the South Coast to Aberdeen. Within easy distance of the M74 and very peaceful. Loved the bold décor. Excellent nights rest , the downstairs bed was very comfortable and the property spotlessly clean.」
