「Heating and hot water.」

「Well appointed with all the amenities we could want, and more. Spotless throughout, plus a very comfortable bed. The most beautiful setting in a storybook village! I came here to see and experience where my great grandmother was born, and was overwhelmed with the beauty of this very special place! I will never forget Rowan Cottage and Wanlockhead!! 」

「Property well presented with every thing you would require for your stay. Disappointed that although stated there was a garden there was no secure outside space. As I had stated that I would be bringing a dog this was an important factor on booking for me. I think the lack of garden should be made clear on your site.」

「We always have a great time at the Hopetoun. The rooms are spacious, cosy and clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is always amazing! We look forward to going back - highly recommended!」

「Great location. Beautiful house and accommodation. Really friendly owners. Great breakfast.」

「Stunning x Had a wonderful overnight stay. Room was immaculate and such a comfy bef. Scottish breakfast in the morning hit the spot. Staff so firendly. Will be back as visit the area regularly for family.」

Our main complaint was the standard of the food in the restaurant. Waiting, and bar staff, looked universally miserable and service was extremely slow, even when there were few occupied tables (with the notable exception of the woman at breakfast, who was friendly and efficient). The food was of poor...

「由緒あるホテルで滞在は楽しめましたが、迷路のような作りで大変でした。 でも、大変満足しています。」

「Outstanding and caring staff optimised our stay. Gorgeous food and it was great to chat with the owner. Suggest an EV charge point for guests would be an enhancement. There was a commercial point just a couple of miles away in town, but being able to charge overnight would save time in our day and make sure we were ready to travel around visiting the region. Only minor inconvenience was the shower: needing to be handheld is not a ‘luxury’ feature as listed - if they could be properly wall...
