"Got in and set up camp easily enough. Directions on VRBO to the site were incorrect but the owner messaged us and let us know. Bathroom was in good condition which was nice. Wish the campsite fire was in better condition and that there was more of a flat area for setting up the tent and wish there was a table to use. Good overall though and close to the park. "

"We loved Space Cowboys. It was quirky and fun and family friendly. The hammocks were a favorite for my family. We watched the sunset from there each evening. I underestimated the steepness of the climb to Pod 12, but we handled it just fine, especially with the atv service to help with luggage. We loved having Dingus come by to say hello. He was friendly and playful. The location was nice and quiet, and it wasn't far from town when we needed to buy things."

Top Big Bend National Park Hotel Reviews

Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa

Lajitas Golf Resort and Spa

10/10 Excellent
"The resort is beautifully landscaped and situated in a unique environment. It is worth the stay to experience the "Western" atmosphere and location next to the Rio Grande River. The staff were friendly and helpful The breakfast items in the bakery were so good. The shops are stocked with interesting items from Western wear to golfing outfits, souvenirs and jewelry. Things are pricey but nice. The facility is clean and maintained okay. The woodwork in the Badlands Hotel needs painting due to lots of bumps and scrapes, especially the baseboards and door frames. Bed and room were comfortable, shower was good. No complaints about comfort."
