「The room was ideal for what I needed and was a lot warmer than first looked, with it being in the outbuildings I thought it would be freezing but it was sound. The breakfast was decent enough and overall the stay represented excellent value for money. It’s probably a lot more lively in the summer as the pub/restaurant was empty the night I was there which felt a bit strange. I would stay again if in the area with work.」

「Our second stay here, we love it so much! The staff are wonderful and our room (Cowslip) was spacious and a beautiful place to stay, with a lovely big comfy bed and lovely tea and coffee selection (and biscuits!) We had everything we needed. The food downstairs is always excellent and the pub and restaurant have a great, cosy atmosphere. Just a couple of tiny things to improve on - the shower head isn’t great (think possibly just needs a good clean) and an extension lead on the unit by the TV...

「A very tired hotel, rooms & spa facilities. Bedrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Our sink & bath didn’t drain. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work. The spa is exceptionally tired. Mould around the sinks. Breakfast had a good selection but it had all been sat out for some time. Overall, a disappointing stay I wouldn’t recommend it. 」
