"It was cheap, but I will spend more next time. Things are pretty old and worn. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, and there was a lot of road noise from a nearby freeway. The air conditioning system showed an error, and didn’t appear to operate. The guy at the front desk did give me some air freshener to mask the odor in the room. No breakfast, just coffee, which I did not try."

"Nice steam room and dry sauna in addition to the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was pretty good - there is an actual kitchen there for the complimentary breakfast and then for purchasing dinner in the evening if you want. Room was excellent. They have both a soaking tub AND a stand-alone shower in the bathroom (although water pressure in the shower was a bit lacking). Bed was very comfortable and the desk was large enough to comfortably work with a laptop on top. Couch was a nice touch to be able to sit and watch TV comfortably. This is my second visit to this location and I will definitely return."

"We enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. The staff was very helpful and kind. The parking was good.Our beds were quite comfortable. I think our room needed additional lighting plus the desk chair was broken but other than that our room was pristine. I found the breakfast lacking. Some other foods would have been helpful. For example, hard boil eggs, less sweet yogurts, and fresh fruit that looked appetizing. The food was not great if you were diabetic. We checked out the pool but chose not to go in because the area looked a little unkempt. But overall, this was a great place to stay and our room was lovely."

"It is always delightful to stay at the Chrysalis. The view is always special and every room we have stayed in features the view and giving you every opportunity to enjoy it in a peaceful way. The food is always good; the location is perfect for walking around and exploring; plenty of things to do around Fairhaven. If you have a car, driving through forested areas to the coastline; lovely. Spa treatments are first rate and relaxing. People ask us why we go to Bellingham/Fairview; staying at that Chrysalis is our reason."
