"We spent a month at this beautiful peaceful retreat & it was wonderful. The home is a rustic, unique A-frame situated right on the Rappahannock River. We had the privilege of seeing several bald eagles from the back deck during our stay. It was very comfortable and we felt like we were at home while we were there. We brought our Labrador Retriever who enjoyed his stay as well. Would highly recommend this property to others who are looking for a laid back place to stay complete with tranquility...

"We had a great time at my Blue Heaven. Nicely stocked kitchen, plenty of room inside and out. The kids ages 8 to 2 loved the bikes, games and puzzles. The beach was so close. Make sure to check out the stars at night AMAZING!"

"The cottage is charming, clean and well stocked. There is a small sandy beach, which is nice. Great area for boating. The host was easy to work with and responsive. And the views are stunning. Had a great trip."

"The house is lovely and the view of the river is gorgeous - especially the sunsets. There are huge windows looking out into the the trees and the river. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us. The kitchen has everything you would need - even popover pans! The owners were wonderful: when the kitchen faucet broke, they fixed it immediately.The private beach is lovely too - although we couldn't really use it that much given it was December. It would be great to come back in the summer."
