「Had to put the heating on when I arrived as the room was very cold. The decor was very old, paint peeling and skirting loose. The washbasin was clean, hairs on it and the water from the tap was just a dribb. Having a shower was difficult as when you held the shower head up the water stopped altog. At the garage, the hotel advertised the price as €12 when it was actually €17. 」

「Apartment exactly as pictured. No one on reception on arrival or at all during our stay, contact available by phone. We arrived early, rooms still being cleaned but advised to return after 3pm.Only information at property was a taxi number. No info regarding the area, maps, how to get to areas of interest. Kitchen facilities but Coffee machine would be useful as for 1 night stay people dont tend to purchase coffee & milk. Have use of private fridge & extra charge to use launndry facilities but...

「Unfortunately, it lacks a few basic amenities that are crucial for any traveler. The rooms don't have fridge nor mini bar, no phones, the hotel has no restaurant or cafeteria, the staff leaves at 11pm and comes back in the morning, no shampoo/conditioner in the bathrooms. They provide you with one bottle of water for the entire night. Good help you if you have a medical emergency or a stomach ache. Having said this, the staff tries really hard...maybe too hard! 「Have stayed in this hotel many times over the last few years. The location is perfect just a short walk to the main area of Sardinero and the beach. The food is amazing. Having tried most restaurants in the area, this is by far the best food. Rooms are very clean. My one criticism is that the rooms are a bit plain and outdated, especially the bathrooms. Nevertheless a very nice place to stay if visiting Santander」
