Clean room. Comfortable bed. Good location for tourist exploring Kissimmee. It is an older hotel so the amenities and room furnishings are older.

In the past we have stayed on campus at Universal Studios which was super convenient with transportation and eateries within walking distance and very nice accommodations however booking two rooms for a party of six in decent sized rooms was very very expensive. At Villatel you don't have the onsite convenience however the experience is soooo much better especially for a longer stay and with larger parties. The house we stayed in was exceptional with the only major complaint being that the sliding glass door to the pool did not lock properly. We called Guest Services and the first time someone came out promptly and showed us the procedure to lock the door properly which appeared to work but after the person left we just tugged on the door a little harder and it just opened right up. I called again for someone to fix it but no one showed up that I could tell so we lived with the insecure sliding door for the entire length of our stay. We had to pay separately to heat the pool and for daily parking. These extra charges were annoying. It was definitely worth it to heat the pool especially since the hot tub does not work unless the pool is heated since water and heat is diverted to the hot tub once its been turned on. The pool was great. It had a basketball hoop so even though it was a small pool we had a lot of fun. It was great using the gas grill. It had a full tank of propane and was easy to use and a very good cooker. We plan to book at Villatel for our next trip.
