「So glad we had a designated place to park! Did a lot of walking but glad that we weren’t paying for street parking. The staff was so nice and attentive. Steven helped check us in and explained everything throughly. Loved that we could bring our pet, too! Everything was clean, and we really appreciated the free water/soda available at anytime (it was so hot; the cold water was a life saver)! The bed was also very comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly! We will definitely be back!」

「It was a beautiful place. Very clean and very historic. Owners were super friendly. Breakfast was so good! The staff was very nice and accommodating, and the location was awesome. The only thing that you need to know is that there are many steps up and there is no elevator. Their staff is more than willing to help, but if you can’t climb steps, that’s something to think about.」

「The property itself needs a little work. There were stains on the ceiling and it could have been a little bit cleaner (there were pee pee drops on the front of the toilet and the floor needed a good vacuuming). We had to check into the B&B from the next door hotel which seemed a little shady inside. The B&B write up claimed the it was located on the beach. It is not. You have to either walk thru an alley way or cut through the neighboring property to access the beach. The reason I rated the B&B...

「This is a challenging review to write because the staff were very friendly and the property is beautiful, however we waited over 2 hours past when our room should have been ready, had scalding hot water only on the first night and then only luke warm throughout our stay and woke up to no electricity on our last day. It is a very expensive resort ( called 5 star) so these things should not happen. Plus we've heard nothing from them after reporting this.」

「Forsyth Park Inn was excellent from start to finish. The private porch was the standout feature. We spent our evenings sitting out there overlooking Forsyth Park, and we even shared a few bottles of wine out there. It's a rare thing to get that kind of view and quiet right in the middle of the historic district. The property itself has real character. The upstairs doors and ceilings are massive, so every room feels grand. The antiques throughout the inn add to that sense of stepping into another...

「I made the mistake of booking a room thinking that all the rooms had balconies overlooking the beach, like the main pictures. It turned out that the Double bed room we'd booked was just a small, motel-like room with two beds and one chair and the only window was to the walkway by the door. It was our own fault, and I knew it was non-refundable when I booked it. And neither we nor Expedia could get them to budge with even a partial refund when we left early. It's not a bad place if you want...

「Nice stay at the Thompson hotel. Staff was great. Pool and dj were fun. Happy hour $5 espresso martinis were excellent! A little bit further from places to go. A quick Lyft made it easy to get around.」
