「The property was a great location close to the harbour and forest. Set near a river the evenings were perfect sitting out having a drink. The rooms are located away from the restaurant/pub so it is good when she wants to go to bed. Had a really nice day. We will definitely come back.」

A local told me we could have walked down the road and over the footbridge into centre within 20mins. Wasn't told this and there was no local info said to us nor written, only plugging local eaterie in which they have an interest. 「Everything in the room was spotless as in the bathroom. However the bathroom would be even better with some hooks on the wall as there was nowhere to hang one’s toilet bag or dressing gown.」

「Lovely property, beautiful location. Very comfortable bed, good parking and ev charging available. Room was quite hot (fan supplied but only a small window) and bathroom layout a bit awkward. Ensuring meals and drinks were correctly added to rooms was a bit disorganised - could do with a signing policy. Breakfast also a little chaotic, though a good choice.」

「We had a wonderful stay at Stanwell House Hotel. The staff are excellent, every member of the team was incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice. My only minor note is that drinks can be quite expensive at the bar. Highly recommended for a boutique stay in Lymington!」
