"Remote location was quiet and private but very close to Ft Davis as well as other area attractions (Mcdonald Observatory, Balmorhea State Park/San Solomon Springs Pool, Ft Davis State Park, Marfa, etc.) The cabin was clean, well-equipped and the bed was super-comfortable. Saw aoudad sheep and many Texas songbirds during our stay. There's hiking available with great views of this spectacular ranch property"

"Oh my, this was my FAVORITE VRBO! And I’ve stayed in many over the years. It was clean, comfortable, but most of all ENTERTAINING! There was so much art and books and even secret little hidey holes filled with history and art! Card games, art supplies, 2 tvs, a record player and plenty of outdoor seating for star gazing. If we hadn’t gone hiking in the Davis Mountains and just stayed in the cottage the whole time we would have still had a blast! We can’t wait to come back!"

"The house has a wonderful view, very comfortable and everything you need for your stay. There are no king size beds if anyone is very big. It was super clean and the sky view is out of this world. "

"The hotel's floors squeaks badly. It someone was walking in their room other rooms could hear. No one on site to help anyone. We thought there was a restaurant downstairs and it was closed. We were looking for the old soda shop vibe. I think the hotel did not advertise correctly. Other than that Fort Davis is a great place."

"Beautiful mountain view in the backyard. Deer walked through at night. Easy access, great layout, and comfortable room. Only blip was Dish Network wouldn’t connect to any of the streaming apps, but just watched regular ol’ tv. Loved this place and will bring my family next time."
