We arrived to check-in at 3 but were told our room was not available because they only had two people cleaning the over 100 rooms. We waited about 15 minutes before the room was available. The room was clean, it could use new curtains, updated look but it was fine. We were on the first floor and could hear the guests right above us jumping and running in the middle of the night - we called the front desk and it was taken care of quickly. We went to the restaurant for breakfast the next morning and realized it was sit down breakfast. They had menus on the tables with our food options, which was fine. We soon realized there was only one server for the very full restaurant. She was very apologetic and we were being patient. It was busy and it seemed like she she couldn’t catch a break. There were two men who kept walking around and into the back rooms. I wish they would have stepped up and helped her because she was overwhelmed. A shortage of staff means customers will be helped less efficiently. It is not the fault of the employees there but management should really step up and assist when needed.

It was okay overall. However, I had to bring my dirty towels to the front desk in order to receive clean ones. Additionally, the water was unexpectedly turned off for about an hour, which was inconvenient.

The shower had a huge leak in the ceiling. The paint was bubbling and peeling. Trash was still in the room from the pervious stay. The pool was so poorly lit felt unsafe. The hallways smelled like mold and guest parking lot double as a truck yard with semi trucks and equipment taking up most of the parking stalls.

The hallway had a mildewy smell that reminded me of dirty socks. There was no light switch upon entering my room in the dark, had to scramble to find a light switch in the bathroom. The AC controls in the wall were not working, had to climb over a recliner to find the wall unit to control the AC. Only one outlet near the bed worked - and the lamps were plugged into it. The phone in the room was not working and no way to call front desk (or anyone for help). The fridge had brown stains inside, handles were broken in the drawers, no coffee maker BUT coffee cups, sugar and coffee packs in the room. Hot Tub, open 24 hours, but brown/foamy water so didn't even attempt to get in. My partners bed was broken, when about to shower the shower head broke. Would not stay in this hotel again due to all of the above, and the pictures are photoshopped - the rooms are very outdated. Although the hotel keys/key cards & water cups say "Best Western" this hotel is not part a best western.

The staff, resturaunt, bar were outstanding. The room was in disrepair and even things that could be easily maintained were not. Only one light worked in the room, the shower drain was plugged causing water to flow into the bathroom . The hotel appears to be in process of being updated. Is going to be a very nice resort setting when complete. Yes I would stay again.

The hotel offers free breakfast, but the diner service was extremely poor—slow and disappointing. I waited about 40 minutes for coffee, asking multiple times, only to be told they had run out. When I asked for alternatives, I was told only tap water was available. My food order was also incorrect. I ordered over-easy eggs, sausage, and hash browns, but was served dry scrambled eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Although they took the plate back, the experience was frustrating. There were issues with the room as well. One of the lamps didn’t work, and despite requesting maintenance, no one came. Overall, the service and responsiveness were very disappointing.

Staff is very condescending and just rude. The older bad make up white lady. The parking is HORRIBLE, had to call the front gate MULTIPLE times due to them not having a code to enter the property BUT nobody was ever there to answer . So your wait to enter or exit will be a nightmare. I will never stay here again

Very old hotel but clean. Bed and sheets comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel had good food. We needed a first floor room as the hotel has no elevator and the receptionist didn't have the authority to make the change. The hotel is large and the room numbers are not posted on the outside so difficult to figure out exactly where to park and access our room.

Check in was a long process, and it doesn’t help that they only have one staff too. The whole parking situation was not convenient either. The place is a bit old and run down. Layout of hotel is confusing. Seems a bit sketchy too. I would not recommend staying with kids or by yourself if you are a woman. They didn’t disclose pool was seasonal only. Only thing ok with the room was the bed, it was comfortable and seems clean. Shower was not draining good. Room smell of strong cleaning chemical. The heater/ac unit was super loud and annoying when on. Breakfast process was ridiculous even though “complimentary”. Only one server and maybe one cook in the back. You have to be seated, get your order taken and they will bring it out. Only have 4-5 options on their menu and not all items were available either. One guest allowed one order of a breakfast meal. You cannot have seconds like other hotels. No drinks, not even water was offer to us besides coffee (and we had kids with us). We didn’t even get all our food either, just ate what we got and left to check out since it took forever. Staffs were ok, but can use some more training on customer service. Would not stay again and will not recommend. This hotel needs to improve on how they operate overall. Very inconvenient to travelers.

We enjoyed our room and the grounds were really nice. Breakfast in the morning is a added bonus. The diner and attached bar were fun. I even picked up a line dance class on Thursday night.
